Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • In charge of handling all aspects of the monthly payroll process, including timely, accurate, and efficient payroll and sales commission preparation and processing.
  • Communicate with the appropriate government statutory bodies on issues pertaining to income tax, EPF, Socso, HRDF, and other similar topics.
  • Create talent retention strategies and recruitment plans depending on the needs of the individual businesses.
  • In charge of confirmation, onboarding, changing work conditions, resignation, probationary period assessment, rebranding, promotion, departure interview, appraisal, and other relevant tasks.
  • Put strategies/activities (such business town halls and team-building exercises) into practice to create positive company cultures.
  • Assure that disciplinary measures are taken by giving staff guidance and advice on the matter.
  • When necessary, create organisational policies and procedures (such as an employee handbook or benefits).
  • Stay current with the newest trends and best practices in HR.
  • Manage HR administrative tasks such as sending out letters, managing personnel files, updating organisational charts, creating reports and analysis of trends, and monthly replenishing the pantry.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Holder.
  • A minimum of two to three years of prior work experience in a similar sector.
  • Someone who can always project positivity even in the face of difficulty, is highly proactive, energetic, enthusiastic, and full of initiative.
  • Incredibly flexible and knowledgeable about the most recent frameworks.
  • Outstanding writing and communication skills in English.
  • Superb attention to detail and a reliable team member.
